We had to come to school at 8.00 o’ clock because our buss was to take off at 8.00. But the buss was terrible late, an hour. And finally the buss came and we were able to leave.

First we arrived to The Ranua wild animal zoo. We went around the zoo in little groups. We saw all kind of northern animals, like polar bears, brown bears, elks, reindeers, owls, foxes and many others. A tour was very interesting. After the tour we went to Fazer’s candyshop. J

Before we continued the trip we had our lunch. And then we drove to Rovaniemi. We went to Arktikum-house, it’s a museum of arctic original nations. There we had a guided tour, and some of us went to see a film about northern lights. After the museum we went to Rovaniemi’s center to eat pizza. The Santa Claus village on Arctic Circle was our next stop. There we met the one and only Santa Claus! He was funny old man with big beard. And of course we took a photo of the group with Santa Claus for memory. We bought there some souvenirs.

We came home at 21.20. It was tiring but very nice and interesting trip. The time we were in the buss was the funniest part of the day.
